Focus and Scope

Indonesian Journal of Tropical and Infectious Disease is the scientific publication for original research on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of infectious disease and control of infectious diseases with particular emphasis placed on those diseases which are most common in Indonesia, South East Asia and other tropical countries and around the world.

Peer Review Process

Each submit manuscript will evaluated double blind review on the following basis :

  • the originality of its contribution to the field of scholarly publishing;
  • the soundness of its theory and methodology given the topic;
  • the coherence of its analysis;
  • its ability to communicate to readers (grammar and style).
Normal turn-around time for evaluation of manuscripts is four to six weeks from the date of receipt.


Publication Frequency

Indonesian Journal of Tropical Disease be published 3 times in one year on April, September and December


Open Access Policy

This Journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public to supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This Journal by IJTID is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Permissions beyond the scope of this license may be available at e-journal.unair.ac.id/index.php/IJTID.



This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...


Article Processing Charges

Every article submitted to IJTID will not have any 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articles.


Plagiarism Check

Plagiarism screening will be conducted by IJTID Editorial Board using Turnitin Plagiarism Checker.


References Management

Every article submitted to IJTID shall use Vancouver Superscript management by Mendeley Software.
