Indonesian Journal of Tropical and Infectious Disease (IJTID) is a scientific peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute of Tropical Disease, Universitas Airlangga.
IJTID is a highly respected tropical and infectious disease journal and is indexed in major databases, such as Science and Technology Index (SINTA); Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ). IJTID has been accredited by Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia since 2017. The latest Accreditation Number (SINTA 2): 105/E/KPT/2022.
IJTID focuses original research on epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases, and control of infectious diseases, with particular emphasis on those most common in Indonesia, South East Asia, tropical countries, and worldwide.
The journal is intended for scientists, clinicians, and professionals in infectious diseases, biochemistry and molecular biology, microbiology, and related sciences. Established to promote the recognition of emerging and re-emerging diseases, specifically in Indonesia, South East Asia, other tropical countries, and worldwide, and to improve the understanding of factors involved in disease emergence, prevention, and management. We welcome contributions from infectious disease specialists in academics, industry, clinical practice, public health, and pharmacy, as well as from specialists in economics, social sciences, and other disciplines.
