Abstract


This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational commitment, discipline and motivation work
employees the Technical Institute of Highways Magelang District.
The study population was all employees at the Technical Institute of Highways Region Magelang some 219
people from all ranks / groups. Samples are used as much as 141 people (based on the Slovin formula) with the
sampling technique used was stratified random sampling. Data related to the study variables were collected
using a questionnaire distributed to all respondents and filled by the respondent based on respondent
perceptions. Based on the test instrument is made evident that all items in the statement is proven valid and
reliable questionnaire.
Analytical techniques used to prove the hypothesis is the multiple linear regressions. The results showed that (1)
organizational commitment but not significant effect on employee job performance, (2) labor discipline in a
positive and significant effect on employee work performance, and (3) motivation to work in a positive and
significant effect on employee work performance Implementation Center Highways technical Magelang District.
Advice can be given is the management of the Technical Institute of Highways Magelang District is enforcing
discipline employees by way of encouraging the attendance in the morning for all employees and impose
penalties indiscriminately so that employees do not deter acts of discipline. Management of the Technical Institute of Highways Magelang District will also need to increase the external motivation (through
supervision) to improve employee motivation is low.
