There are several laws in bibliometric analysis such as Zipf's, Bradford's, or Lotka's laws. Lotka's law is used to analyze author productivity in journals. Lentera Pustaka Journal of Library, Information, and Archival Science Studies is a journal managed by the Faculty of Cultural Studies, Diponegoro University, which has currently published 120 articles by 101 authors. Author productivity analysis was carried out on the Lentera Pustaka journal published in 2016 to 2024 using the Lotka law.</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> This analysis was conducted to determine the productivity of authors during the 9 years of publication of the Lentera Pustaka journal.</p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> This analysis uses bibliometric analysis techniques with Lotka's law which focus on author productivity in the Lentera Pustaka journal.</p> <p><strong>Finding:</strong> From the results of Lotka's calculations, a constant value of 0,878 was obtained, which means that the contribution of a particular author to a particular article in the Lentera Pustaka journal has a value of 87,8% of the total number of authors. From the exponent value of 3,289, an observation value of 85,15% was obtained, which is quite close to the Lotka value of 87,8%. Terdapat beberapa kaidah di dalam analisis bibliometrik seperti kaidah Zipf, Bradford, ataupun Lotka. Kaidah Lotka digunakan untuk menganalisis produktivitas penulis pada jurnal. Jurnal Lentera Pustaka Kajian Ilmu Perpustakaan, Informasi, dan Kearsipan merupakan jurnal yang dikelola oleh Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Diponegoro, yang saat ini telah menerbitkan 120 artikel oleh 101 penulis. Analisis produktivitas penulis dilakukan terhadap jurnal Lentera Pustaka terbitan tahun 2016 hingga 2024 dengan menggunakan kaidah Lotka.</p> <p><strong>Tujuan:</strong> Analisis ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui produktivitas penulis selama 9 tahun terbitan jurnal Lentera Pustaka.</p> <p><strong>Metode:</strong> Analisis ini menggunakan teknik analisis bibliometrik dengan kaidah Lotka yang berfokus terhadap produktivitas penulis pada jurnal Lentera Pustaka.</p> <p><strong>Temuan: </strong>Dari hasil perhitungan Lotka didapatkan nilai konstanta sebesar 0,878 yang mengartikan bahwa kontribusi penulis tertentu terhadap artikel tertentu pada jurnal Lentera Pustaka memiliki nilai sebesar 87,8% dari total jumlah penulis. Dari nilai eksponen sebesar 3,289, kemudian didapatkan nilai pengamatan sebesar 85,15% yang cukup mendekati nilai Lotka 87,8%. User engagement also has a significant impact on the success of library promotion through social media. Keterlibatan pemustaka juga memberikan dampak yang cukup signifikan pada keberhasilan promosi perpustakaan melalui sosial media. In its development, motivation and institutional support play a major role in the success of ideas and concepts of inclusiveness in information access and services. However, it was also found that the initiative of information workers emerged before access and service policies were created.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> Information workers hold vital roles in both creating support and policies for inclusive access and services for people with disabilities. Wilson, David Ellis, and Carol Kuhlthau, and to evaluate their relevance in addressing current information needs.<br /><br /><strong>Method:</strong> A qualitative descriptive approach was used through a narrative literature review of eleven scholarly articles discussing the three models.<br /><br /><strong>Findings:</strong> The findings reveal that Kuhlthau’s model is predominantly applied in educational contexts, as it accommodates users' affective and cognitive experiences. Ellis’s model is commonly used in academic and professional settings to capture technical strategies in information seeking, while Wilson’s model is relevant for understanding the influence of social, psychological, and environmental factors in everyday information behavior. This transition represents a crucial development in information literacy that fundamentally shaped Islamic educational and scientific traditions, but comprehensive analysis of this historical evolution remains limited.</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> This study aims to examine the development of information literacy from the time of the Prophet Muhammad until the period of the Khulafaur Rasyidin, analyzing how Islamic civilization evolved from an oral tradition into a comprehensive literacy culture that values reading, writing, and the systematic dissemination of knowledge.</p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong>The researcher uses qualitative literature research methodology, conducting a systematic analysis of historical sources and Islamic literature to understand the evolution of literacy practices and educational institutions in the early period of Islam.</p> <p><strong>Finding: </strong>Re Research indicates that the initial revelation, "Iqra'," established the foundational framework for Islamic literacy culture, which subsequently facilitated the emergence of educational institutions such as Dar al-Arqam, Kuttab, Suffah, and mosques. The Prophet's era was marked by systematic literacy teaching, including an innovative approach that utilized prisoners of war from Badr as teachers. The period of the Khulafaur Rasyidin showed significant progress: the codification of the Quran by Abu Bakar, the expansion of the education system by Umar, the standardization of the language of the Quran by Usman, and the continuation of the scientific tradition by Ali. Sehingga, dibutuhkan peran pustakawan untuk melakukan pengawasan tersebut.</span></p> <p><strong>Tujuan: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pustakawan dalam literasi digital anak di Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Pekalongan.</span></p> <p><strong>Metode: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Adapun pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan dokumentasi dilakukan selama 15 hari dalam rentang waktu 24 Januari-10 Februari 2025.</span></p> <p><strong>Temuan: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pustakawan di Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Pekalongan melakukan peran sebagai pendukung pembelajaran melalui pembimbingan penggunaan perangkat digital, melakukan pengajaran melalui tayangan digital, mengontrol penggunaan perangkat digital berupa komputer di perpustakaan, dan memberikan rekomendasi perpustakaan digital kepada orang tua.</span></p> <p><strong>Kesimpulan</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">: Meskipun pustakawan melakukan peran untuk mendukung literasi digital anak di perpustakaan, perlu dilakukan pengembangan peran melalui pengembangan keterampilan dengan mengikuti pelatihan yang lebih luas melalui kerja sama dengan pihak eksternal.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /><strong><em>Kata Kunci: </em></strong>Literasi digital, literasi digital anak, perpustakaan umum, peran pustakawan, pustakawan</span></p>2025-11-24T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://e-journal.unair.ac.id/JPERPUS/article/view/73635Application of Ranganathan's Five Laws in Collection Management at the Indonesian Academy of Pharmacy Library in Yogyakarta2025-10-06T13:49:41+07:00Ghalib Muhammad Syukri Al Ghiffary23200012003@student.uin-suka.ac.idLabibah ZainLabibah@uin-suka.ac.id<p><strong>Background of the study: </strong>Vocational academic libraries face challenges in implementing ideal collection development principles due to resource constraints, creating a gap between theory and practice.</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> To analyze the application of Ranganathan's Five Laws as an adaptive framework for collection management in the small-scale AFIYO Library.</p> <p><strong>Method: </strong>A qualitative study with a single case design, using in-depth interviews, participant observation for 10 weeks, and document analysis.
