Journal History

Majalah Obstetri & Ginekologi published its first printed edition of volume 1 no. 1 January - April 1991. The journal was initiated by the staff of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. The journal is among a number of other reputable journals in the same field in Indonesia. It was firstly accredited by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in 1996. The accreditation has been updated several times, and the last one was in the year 2022. In 2017 the journal obtained its ISSN for its online edition, and in 2018 the journal has its parallel title in English: the Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology Science. The next year, in 2019 it has been indexed in the DOAJ.
