The Journal of Aquaculture And Fish Health (JAFH) has an objective to publish and provide high-quality scientific contributions to the field of fisheries. These contributions are sourced from innovative research that encourages science and technology development in the field of aquaculture, fish health, and fisheries on a national and international scale. This journal serves as a communication medium for researchers, academics, students, and communities. The Journal of Aquaculture and Fish Health’s scope includes:

Peer Review Process

Manuscript received by the Journal of Aquaculture And Fish Health (JAFH) will be reviewed in two stages. In the first stage, the manuscript will be reviewed (the title and completeness of the manuscript components) as part of the initial selection by the section editor. If the manuscript has a missing component, we will return it to the author(s) to be revised. If the component is complete, it will go directly to the next stage. In the second stage, the manuscript will be reviewed by two reviewers (sent to the peer reviewers) with a double-blind system based on the expertise of each reviewer. Afterward the manuscript will be returned to the author(s) for revision.

The peer reviewers will assess all the substantial and technical aspects of the manuscript text they receive. The peer reviewers work with Journal of Aquaculture And Fish Health (JAFH) in fisheries science in accordancewith their fields expertise and experience bothnationally and internationally.

This journal is published three times per year

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

 

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Plagiarism Screening

The manuscript must be an original work of the author. The manuscript submitted to this journal will be checked using a plagiarism tool (TURNITIN) to check the similarity of existing publications. Manuscript with similarities ≤30% will be forwarded to the next stage, while manuscript with similarities exceeding 30% will be returned to the author for correction. Otherwise, the manuscript will be rejected.
