Focus and Scope

The International Journal Of Applied Business (TIJAB) publishes original articles researching or documenting issues on applied business including, but not limited to, economics and business, taxation, banking, tourism and hospitality. It considers both theoretical and applied manuscripts for publication. However, theoretical articles must show a link to significant business applications. A wide range of research methods including analytical work, historical analysis, case studies, statistical analysis and field research is accepted.

Peer Review Process

The journal operates a peer review process and promotes double blind reviewing. The acceptance or rejection of articles is decided by the editorial boards based on the review results provided by the reviewers. Before going to the review process, all manuscripts will be checked that they are free from plagiarism practice using "Turnitin" software. If there is an indication of plagiarism, the manuscript will be instantly rejected. All manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial staff to decide whether the manuscripts fit within the scope of TIJAB, and of potential interest to our readership. If the manuscript passed the editorial review, it will be sent to external reviewers.

The Author whose paper is rejected will be informed with the reasons for the rejection.

Publication Frequency

TIJAB is an open access journal published biannually in April and November.
