Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Submission Preparation Checklist

General Requirements:

  1. Articles submitted are self-made articles. Any form of plagiarism is the responsibility of the publisher of Airlangga International Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance (AIJIEF).
  2. Following the rules of writing as scientific writing and follow the existing writing ethics (Ethics writing Airlangga International Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance).
  3. Content (discussion) is more dominant in writing, and the criteria of scientific writing should be:
  • Objective: Based on factual condition
  • Up to date: Writing is the latest development of science
  • Rational: serves as a vehicle for mutual criticism
  • Reserved: Not overclaiming, honest, straightforward, and not personally motivated
  • Effective and efficient: writing is a high-powered communication medium, the accuracy of research methods, and by the guidance of Airlangga International Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance  
  1. The title of the cultivated manuscript is an interesting and new thing.
  2. The manuscript should be written in good and correct English with the correct grammar. The use of a foreign language other than English must be tilted.
  3. The manuscript was accompanied by author's name, affiliation, and correspondence. Appendix bios by authors complete with postal address and email at the time of delivery.
  4. All section in the manuscript including the abstract should be written in English.
  5. The manuscript was presented in several sections including: 
  • Preliminary
  • Theoretical basis 
  • Research methods 
  • Results and Discussion 
  • Conclusion 
  • Bibliography
