Hubungan Literasi Kesehatan Mental dengan Intensi Mencari Bantuan pada Mahasiswa

Literasi kesehatan mental masyarakat yang rendah menyebabkan kondisi kesehatan mental kurang dilaporkan dan tidak terdiagnosis. Hal ini meningkatkan gangguan yang tidak tertangani, morbiditas, mortalitas, peningkatan stres serta kasus bunuh diri. Ketidakmampuan seseorang dalam mengenali gangguan mental diduga berkaitan dengan berkurangnya kemungkinan mencari bantuan. Penelitian terdahulu menyatakan bahwa mahasiswa merupakan kelompok terendah dalam mencari bantuan. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara literasi kesehatan mental dengan intensi mencari bantuan pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini meliputi 111 partisipan yang merupakan mahasiswa berusia antara 18-25 tahun di Indonesia. Pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala Mental Health Literacy (MHL) dan skala General Help-Seeking Questionnaire (GHSQ). Analisis dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Spearman's rho pada JAMOVI 2.3.0.0 for macOS. Hasil analisis pada penelitian ini adalah tidak ditemukannya bukti yang dapat mengonfirmasi keberadaan hubungan antara literasi kesehatan mental dengan intensi mencari bantuan (r=0,034; p=0,727).
