Peer Review Process
- Each manuscript in the Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal will be reviewed by 2 (two) reviewers.
- The review of each journal is determined by the Associate Editor based on the competence and area of expertise according to the title of the manuscript.
- The review process begins by contacting the reviewer. After the reviewer is willing, 2 attachments will be sent, namely: 1). Form Reviewer Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal. and 2). Manuscripts that will be reviewed by the reviewer concerned without the author's name.
- Each reviewer is given a maximum correction limit for 20 working days (4 weeks) from the first day of submission of the manuscript.
- If it exceeds the correction target, the reviewer will be reminded by the Associate editor of the Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal.
- The results of the completed review will be submitted to the Associate editor. Furthermore, the Associate editor will submit the review results to the author.
- If the reviewer agrees to publish the manuscript and there is no suggestion of improvement, the manuscript will be immediately accepted for publication in the Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal. The LOA (Letter of Acceptance) was published.
- If the reviewer does not agree to accept the manuscript in the Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal, due to fatal reasons such as the originality of the manuscript and related content, then the manuscript cannot be accepted in the Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal.
- If there are still suggestions for improvement from the reviewer to the author, the Associate editor will submit the review results to the author, and the author is given a maximum correction period of 20 working days (4 weeks).
- After the correction by the author is complete, the author must submit it back to the Associate editor of the Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal henceforth submitted back to the reviewer concerned with the maximum limit of the review for 20 working days (4 weeks).
- If the reviewer agrees to publish the manuscript and there is no suggestion of improvement, the manuscript will be immediately accepted for publication in the Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal. The LOA (Letter of Acceptance) was published.
- Stage numbers 8 and 9 will continue until the reviewer agrees to publish it in the Indonesian Andrology Biomedical Journal and there are no more suggestions for improvement.
Type of Peer Review Indonesian Andrology and Biomedical Journal employs double blind review, where both the reviewer and author remain anonymous throughout the process.
