Paradiplomasi Jawa Barat Melalui Kerja Sama Sister Province antara Jawa Barat dan Souss-Massa

Kerja sama luar negeri merupakan bagian integral dari suatu hubungan antarnegara di seluruh dunia. Bentuk dari kerja sama luar negeri yang dikenal adalah paradiplomasi. Di Indonesia, praktik paradiplomasi mulai berkembang pasca tahun 1998, pemerintah pusat pun mendukung hubungan kerja sama dalam praktik diplomasi tersebut dengan mengeluarkan beberapa regulasi- regulasi demi kelancaran paradiplomasi. Praktik paradiplomasi di Indonesia terdapat dua bentuk kerja sama yaitu sister city dan sister province. Artikel ini mendeskripsikan proses dan bentuk paradiplomasi antara Jawa Barat dan Sous-Massa (Maroko) yang telah menjalin sister province sejak 2017 hingga sekarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data, melalui studi literatur yang didapatkan dari website, jurnal, dan dokumen resmi dengan fokus pada telaah pokok bahasan secara rinci dan komprehensif. Temuan penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman pentingnya paradiplomasi dan soft power dalam membentuk hubungan internasional, serta potensi peningkatan kerja sama bilateral antara Indonesia dan Maroko di masa yang akan datang.
