Jurnal Hubungan Internasional (JHI) is a scientific journal published twice a year. It is published by Cakra Studi Global Strategis (CSGS), a center of studies on contemporary international relations issues. The International Relations Department of Universitas Airlangga manages the CSGS. JHI was first registered for an international standard serial number (ISSN) by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) on May 29, 2007 (1411-9382).
In December 2011, JHI published its first online publication on Journal Unair (journal.unair.ac.id), the first online journal platform of Universitas Airlangga, under a separate ISSN (1411-9729). The platform was used up until July 2016, with JHI Vol. 9 No. 2 as its last online publication on the platform. JHI then relocated its activities to Journal Universitas Airlangga (e-journal.unair.ac.id), and its management was transferred from the Laboratorium Masalah Hubungan Internasional to the CSGS in 2017, with JHI Vol. 10 No. 2 as its first online publication on the new online journal platform. Alongside the P-ISSN which it has used since its registration in 2007, JHI has been registered for an online ISSN (e-ISSN: 2715-1565).
JHI has been indexed by several academic portals, such as the PKP index, Garda Rujukan Digital (GARUDA), Dimensions, and Google Scholars. As of 2022, JHI has acquired certifications from Science and Technology Index (SINTA) and accredited with the S3 predicate, following the result of Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah Periode II Tahun 2021 and Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia No. 154 / E / KPT / 2021
To this day, JHI retains the same ISSN for its printed publications (p-ISSN). Since its registration, JHI has published works relevant to the field of International Relations in printed issues
