Peran Jejaring Feminis Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) dalam Merepresentasikan Hak Asasi Perempuan

Penelitian ini berusaha menjelaskan latar belakang pentingnya membangun sebuah jejaring feminis untuk menghadapi situasi yang tidak memihak perempuan akibat langgengnya hegemoni patriarki. Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) sebagai salah satu jejaring feminis dipilih sebagai contoh untuk melihat peran yang dimiliki jejaring feminis dalam merepresentasikan hak asasi perempuan beserta gambaran tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menghadapi hegemoni patriarki yang terlegitimasi pada aspek kehidupan manusia. APWLD menggunakan instrumen hukum untuk memperkuat hasil-hasil penelitian, pelatihan, advokasi dan aktivismenya dalam mengklaim dan memperkuat hak asasi perempuan pada setiap ruang-ruang dialog yang memengaruhi kebijakan ditingkat lokal, nasional, regional maupun internasional. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh APWLD dalam mendorong perubahan untuk memengaruhi praktik kebijakan ataupun hukum pada tingkat lokal, nasional, regional dan internasional akan ditinjau melalui kerangka Transnational Feminist Networks (TFNs).
