Jurnal Respirasi (JR; English: Journal of Respirology)

JR was previously named Majalah Kedokteran Respirasi (MKR) which was established in 2010 by the Department of Pulmonology and Respiratory MedicineFaculty of MedicineUniversitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia. The chief editor of MKR was Yusuf Wibisono, dr., Sp.P(K), FCCP. In 2015, MKR changed its name to JR, with Winariani Koesoemoprodjo, dr., Sp.P(K), MARS, FCCP as its chief editor.

JR is a peer-reviewed national journal created by the Department of Pulmonology and Respiratory MedicineFaculty of MedicineUniversitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia, and supported by the Indonesian Society of Respirology (PDPI) and the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) of SurabayaJR is published 3 (three) times a year, every JanuaryMay, and September, and contains 13 (eleven) complete texts in English. JR provides a forum for original articlescase reports, and literature reviews.

JR publishes various scientific works on the medical world, especially in the field of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine, such as:

JR has been re-accredited as a 2nd Grade Scientific Journal (SINTA 2) by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI RI) since August 2023 based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development Strengthening No. 79/E/KPT/2023 on July 24th, 2023. This accreditation applies from Volume 8 Number 3 (2022 Issue) and is valid until Volume 13 Number 2 (2027 Issue). JR has also been indexed in a number of leading indexing institutions, such as DOAJGoogle ScholarWorldCatBASECrossrefDimensions, and others.

CALL FOR PAPER

Jurnal Respirasi is calling all authors to submit their works (original article, case report, and literature review).

Submitted papers must contain original work (screening to detect plagiarism will be conducted) and previously unpublished. The confidentiality of submissions, which should be in English, is respected during the review process.
