Peer Review Process
TIJAB operates a peer review process and promotes double blind reviewing. The acceptance or rejection of articles is decided by the editorial boards based on the review results provided by the reviewers. Before going to the review process, all manuscripts will be checked that they are free from plagiarism practice using "Turnitin" software. If there is an indication of plagiarism, the manuscript will be instantly rejected. All manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial staff to decide whether the manuscripts fit within the scope of TIJAB, and of potential interest to our readership. If the manuscript passed the editorial review, it will be sent to external reviewers.
The decisions include:
- Accepted, as it can be published directly
- Accepted with Minor Revisions (allow author to revise with a specified time limit)
- Accepted with Major Revisions (allow author to revise with a specified time limit)
- Rejected, as it can be re-evaluted after revision (generally, the manuscript is out of the scope of TIJAB, major technical problems, clarity of contents and presentation)
The Author whose paper is rejected will be informed with the reasons for the rejection.
