Pengaruh Perfeksionisme terhadap Kemunculan Simtom Psikosomatis yang Dimediasi oleh Keterhubungan Sosial

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan pengaruh dimensi perfeksionisme terhadap kemunculan simtom psikosomatis yang dimediasi oleh keterhubungan sosial. Gangguan psikosomatis adalah masalah kesehatan mental yang kurang dikenal dan mendapat perhatian di kalangan anak muda. Padahal, gangguan psikosomatis berkembang disebabkan oleh stressor sehari-hari yang tidak mampu dikelola dengan baik, termasuk stressor yang berasal dari tugas perkembangan dewasa awal. Individu dapat semakin rentan mengalami gejala psikosomatis jika ia memiliki kepribadian perfeksionisme. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif melalui survei secara daring untuk individu usia 19-30 tahun tanpa batasan domisili. Sebanyak 311 partisipan menjawab 100 pernyataan yang dihimpun dari 3 alat ukur, yaitu Psychosomatic Symptoms Scale (PSS), Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (MPS), dan Social Connectedness Scale. Seluruh partisipan dipastikan tidak sedang mengalami masalah kesehatan selama 3 bulan terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salah satu dimensi perfeksionisme, yaitu socially-prescribed perfectionism memiliki pengaruh signifikan (p<0.001) terhadap kemunculan simtom psikosomatis. Hasil analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa keterhubungan sosial berperan sebagai mediator parsial.
