Peran Ruminasi terhadap Perilaku Non-suicidal Self-injury pada Remaja

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh ruminasi perilaku NSSI pada remaja. Ruminasi, pemikiran negatif yang berulang dan terus-menerus tentang kesusahan, masalah pribadi, dan pengalaman yang menjengkelkan, merupakan satu determinan perilaku NSSI, terkhusus pada kalangan remaja. Ruminasi memiliki 2 dimensi, reflection mengacu pada proses pemecahan masalah di mana individu berusaha memahami perasaan negatif, sedangkan brooding merupakan perbandingan pasif antara situasi seseorang dengan beberapa standar yang tidak tercapai. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif cross-sectional dengan metode survei pada 112 responden (46 laki-laki, 66 perempuan). Skala yang digunakan adalah RSS dan ISAS. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi pearson's r dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat peran dari reflection dan terdapat peran yang signifikan dari brooding sebagai prediktor perilaku NSSI pada remaja. Hasil model koefisien menyatakan reflection tidak berpengaruh, sementara brooding berpengaruh signifikan dalam memprediksi perilaku NSSI pada remaja.
