Peer Review Process

Submitted manuscripts on Jurnal Farmasi dan Ilmu Kefarmasian Indonesia (JFIKI) will go through the administration review and editor review stages before it will be sent to the reviewers.

At the administrative review stage, checks will be made whether the submitted manuscripts comply with the rules that apply to the JFIKI author guidelines and templates. The complete files or supporting files for submission are also checked at this stage. Then, the manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism before starting the review process. Plagiarism is not acceptable in JFIKI. 

At the editor review stage, checks will be made whether the submitted manuscripts are in accordance with the scientific scope and standards applicable to JFIKI. If the manuscripts do not meet the requirements, then the manuscripts will be rejected.

If the manuscripts meet the requirements at the administrative and editorial review stage, the manuscripts will be sent to the reviewers. The manuscripts will be reviewed by two reviewers by means of a double-blind peer review. The review process on JFIKI takes 20 days. If the two reviewers have finished the review process, the results of the review will be sent to the author(s) for correction. The editor will also add comments or recommendations for improvement if needed.

 

The final decision is determined by the Editorial Board after obtaining recommendations from peer reviewers. Manuscript revision is author's responsibility, and manuscripts that are not feasible will be returned to the author.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Farmasi dan Ilmu Kefarmasian Indonesia (JFIKI) published three times a year; in April, August, and December.

JFIKI is an open access journal.

Archiving

JFIKI is implementing an archiving plan for electronic backup and preservation of access to all journal content to ensure that JFIKI knowledge remain available with a high probability. JFIKI is deposited in multiple digital archives to guarantee long­-term digital preservation. These archives include:

`1. This journal utilizes CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Article Processing Charge

Every article submitted and published in Jurnal Farmasi dan Ilmu Kefarmasian Indonesia (JFIKI) will NOT be charged for any fees.

Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

Plagiarism Screening

All the submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism before starting the review process. Plagiarism is not acceptable in JFIKI. We uses "turnitin” software for the plagiarism check.
