Journal Orthopaedi and Traumatology Surabaya (JOINTS)
ISSN: 2460-8742 (Online) | ISSN: 2722-712X (Print)
The establishment of Journal Orthopaedi and Traumatology Surabaya, also known as JOINTS, was initiated by the desire of the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology. The insufficient number of published research results led to the motivation of all doctors specializing in orthopedics and traumatology at Universitas Airlangga to create a platform for the publication of innovative research findings in the field of orthopedics and traumatology. The Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology launched JOINTS in 2012, and it was officially recognized as a journal on September 4, 2015, with the issuance of an ISSN for JOINTS by LIPI.
Journal Orthopaedi and Traumatology Surabaya (JOINTS) is an online peer-reviewed open-access journal established in 2012 by the Department of Orthopedic and Traumatology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga/Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital Surabaya in collaboration with the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (PABOI) East Java branch.
