Journal History

The formation of Journal Orthopaedi and Traumatology Surabaya known as JOINTS was initiated by the wishes of the Chairman of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department. The number of research results that only lead to unpublished papers becomes the motivation for all doctors specialize in orthopedics and traumatology UNAIR to make the journal expected to become a forum for doctors specialist orthopedic and general practitioners to publish the novelty of research results in the field of orthopedic and traumatology either research articles, case reports or literature review. Orthopedic and Traumatology Department started JOINTS in 2012 and JOINTS officially became a journal on September 4, 2015 which was marked with the issuance of ISSN JOINTS by LIPI.
