Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

    1. The article is the original work of the author and the team based on real research results, has not been and will not be published in any media.
    2. Plagiarism-free articles including self-plagiarism (Articles are independently reviewed with the application of anti-plagiarism)
    3. The article contains research related to library and information science (see focus and scope).
    4. Article using Bahasa Indonesian or English, title and abstract using English and Indonesian consisting of 3000-7000 words, calibri 12 pt., spaced 1, A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) using 2 cm for the top margin, as well as the right, left and right margins below 1.5 cm.
    5. The title contains a maximum of 14 words, without abbreviations, 14pt. Calibri, Bold, Capital, Align left, space 1, and sub-heading (if any).
    6. The names of all authors are written in full without abbreviations, without titles, 12pt. calibri, Capital Per Word, Bold, Left Align, Space 1
    7. The name of the institution of each author is listed only the name of the college or company institution. Example: Library and Information Science Study Program, Airlangga University or PT. TelkomIndonesia.
    8. The affiliation addresses of all authors consisting of: Faculty/division/department etc., email of each author is 10pt. Calibri, Capital Per Word, Left Align, Space 1
    9. Abstract is the essence of the manuscript, not copying the conclusions, made in the form of an essay consisting of introduction, objectives, methods, conclusions in bold and written in 1 (one) paragraph, Calibri 10pt, spaced 1, justify paragraph, 200-250 words, without numbering, made in Indonesian and English.
    10. Keywords are made in Indonesian and English, consist of three to five capital words/phrases per word and are relevant separated by commas.
    11. The use of footnotes is not allowed, the author must write them in the running note.
    12. Quotations of more than 3 lines must be written in direct quote style, spaced 1 with a margin (5 tap space).
    13. Each paragraph must use 1 cm, 1 space, justify, 11.5pt calibri.
    14. The manuscript only consists of INTRODUCTION, LITERATURE REVIEW, RESEARCH METHODS, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, REFERENCE.
    • INTRODUCTION should consist of:

    The introduction must sequentially contain the background of the problem and the formulation of the problem, the background of the problem with supporting data must be attached

    • LITERATURE REVIEW (state of the art) as the basis for new research questions, statements of new scientific articles, previous research, relevant theoretical foundations/concepts.
    • RESEARCH METHODS consist of:
    • type of research, (each citation must be attached),
    • subject and object,
    • data collection technique,
    • data analysis technique,
    • location and time of the study.
    • RESULTS and DISCUSSION must contain:
    • The results obtained from the research must be supported by adequate data.
    • If there is a table, the source must be written at the bottom left of the table.
    • The title of the table is placed above the table, the middle margin, calibri 10pt.,.
    • Images can be graphs, diagrams, schematics, photos. Title, source and image
    • Image title must be placed below the image, upper/lower case, center margin, 10pt., space 1, and source listed at the bottom of the image.
    • CONCLUSION contains the research findings. It should answer the research objectives and provide applicable recommendations, should be written in unnumbered paragraphs.
    • REFERENCE: Following the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition http://www.apastyle.org, using Reference manager: MENDELEY, References consist of primary sources (scientific journals, research reports or conference proceedings, printed books, official websites of all references) published in the last ten years. Each article must have at least ten references.
    1. Author includes ORCHID ID
    2. The author includes an Active HP/WA number under the script
