Influence of Selection Dimentions of Cross Functional Teamwork to Relational Coordination in Muhammadiyah Hospital Surabaya

Latar Belakang: Tim Lintas Fungsi merupakan metode yang efektif dalam organisasi. Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Surabaya menerapkan tim lintas fungsi dalam manajemen rumah sakitnya. Dengan menggunakan metode tim lintas fungsi organisasi berusaha untuk meningkatkan koordinasi dan rentang integrasi, meningkatkan waktu pengembangan teknologi dan mengurangi tingkat ketidakpastian. Permasalahan yang diangkat yaitu belum optimalnya kinerja Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Surabaya dengan rata-rata BOR masih dibawah 60%, kunjungan rawat jalan masih belum mencapai target (10%-20%), serta penurunan pemanfaatan penunjang medik sebesar 12,4% pada tahun 2011. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Dimensi Seleksi Tim Lintas Fungsi terhadap Relational Coordination di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Surabaya tahun 2012. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan di RS Muhammadiyah Surabaya dengan desain penelitian observasional deskriptif. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian cross sectional. Responden adalah anggota dari 12 Tim Lintas Fungsi di RS Muhammadiyah Surabaya sebanyak 29 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pemilihan staf dari masing-masing unit kerja untuk menjadi anggota Tim Lintas Fungsi di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Surabaya secara keseluruhan dipilih oleh manajemen. Sebesar 58,33% pelaksanaan seleksi tim lintas fungsi mengindikasikan relational coordination yang kuat. Kesimpulan: Disimpulkan seleksi tim lintas fungsi yang baik dapat mempengaruhi terjalinnya Relational Coordination yang kuat.
