Perbandingan Consideration of Future Consequences dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Vaksinasi pada Orang Tua

Consideration of future consequences (CFC) adalah sejauh mana seorang individu merenungkan bagaimana perilaku saat ini dapat memengaruhi dampak di masa depan. Tujuan penelitian ini melihat perbedaan CFC orang tua dalam pemberian vaksin pada anak. Penelitian ini melibatkan 120 orang tua, terdiri dari 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok orang tua memilih memberikan vaksin dan orang tua yang tidak memberikan vaksin. Teknik pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan teknik unrestricted self-selected survey, dan menggunakan skala Consideration of Future Consequences (Skala CFC-14) dikembangkan Joireman. Hasil analisis data dengan uji t, sampel independen menunjukkan bahwa orang tua yang mengijinkan pemberian vaksin pada anak memiliki skor CFC yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan mereka yang menolak (p < 0.001). Dengan demikian, upaya edukasi untuk meningkatkan pemberian vaksin pada anak dapat menginkorporasikan informasi terkait dampak positif pemberian vaksin.
