Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

TEMPLATE FOR MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

This template is designed to assist Author in preparing manuscript; it is an exact representation of the format expected by the editor (downloadable at Template). To use this template, please just Save As this MS Word file to your document, then copy and paste your document here. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English.

Yuridika is a peer-reviewed journal published by Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga three times a year in January, May, September. The aims of this journal are to provide a venue for academicians, researchers, and practitioners for publishing the original research articles or review articles. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. YURIDIKA is available in print and online version. The language used in this journal is English.

The scope of the articles published in this journal deals with a broad range of topics in the fields of  criminal lawcivil lawconstitutional lawadministrative lawinternational law, and Islamic law.

GUIDELINE FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION

The author should first register as Author and/or is offered as Reviewer through the following address: Online Submission

The author should fulfill the form as detail as possible where the star marked form must be entered. After all form textbox was filled, Author clicks on “Register” button to proceed the registration. Therefore, the Author is brought to an online author submission interface where Author should click on “New Submission”. In the Start, a New Submission section, click on “’ Click Here’: to go to step one of the five-step submission process”. The following are five steps in the online submission process:

  1. Step 1 - Starting the Submission: Select the section according to the suitability of the title, namely 1 Criminal Law; 2 Civil Laws; 3 Constitutional Laws; 4 Administrative Laws; 5 International Laws; 6 Islamic Law. So, the writer must choose one of the available sections.
  2. Step 2 – Uploading the Submission: To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse on the Upload submission file item and choose the manuscript document file to be submitted, then click the Upload button. 
  3. Step 3 – Entering Submission’s Metadata: In this step, detail authors metadata should be entered including the marked corresponding author. After that, the manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste in the textbox including keywords.
  4. Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files: There is no obligation to attach documents here, but if the author feels that there are additional documents that need to be included, such as a CV or letter of origin from the institution, author can attach it here.
  5. Step 5 – Confirming the Submission: Author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to YURIDIKA journal, click Finish Submission button after the documents are true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgment by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site. 

After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes the status of the manuscript review and editorial process.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

1. Manuscript submitted to YURIDIKA is written in MS. Word (.doc or .docx) file and shall be formatted as follows:
  • Times New Roman font, size 12;
  • Space 1,5;
  • Paper size A4 (margin top-bottom-left-right, 4-3-4-3 cm)

2. Author’s name is put incomplete without an academic title. It shall mention the last name of the author, email address and affiliation.

3. The manuscript is written in English 10-25 length.
