PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Each submitted manuscript will be evaluated using double-blind review methods (in which the author does not know who is reviewing their manuscript, while the reviewers do not know who the authors are since the manuscript itself is sent anonymously) with at least two independent peer reviewers assigned on the following basis:

  • The originality of its contribution to the field of scholarly publishing.
  • The soundness of its theory and methodology given the topic.
  • The coherence of its analysis.
  • The ability of the manuscript to communicate to readers (grammar and style).

In the case when two independent peer-reviewers have opposing decisions, the third peer-reviewer will be asked to review the manuscript, and his/her decision will be final for determining whether the manuscript is accepted or rejected.

The average turn-around time for manuscript evaluation is four to eight weeks from the date of receipt.
