Pengetahuan Masyarakat terkait Pengelolaan Vitamin di Rumah Tangga pada Era Pandemi COVID-19 di Pulau Jawa

Berbagai intervensi telah dilakukan untuk menekan pertumbuhan kasus COVID-19, salah satunya adalah mengonsumsi vitamin yang dapat meningkatkan imunitas. Pemanfaatan vitamin dapat dioptimalkan apabila masyarakat juga memahami bagaimana cara pengelolaan vitamin yang baik, yaitu dengan penerapan DAGUSIBU (Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, Buang). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat terkait pengelolaan vitamin di rumah tangga pada era pandemi COVID-19 khususnya di Pulau Jawa. Survei online dilakukan dengan pendekatan cros-sectional menggunakan metode snowball sampling untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengambil sampel. Sebanyak 225 responden berpartisipasi pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 macam vitamin yang sering digunakan yaitu vitamin C (40,1%), multivitamin (20,3%) dan vitamin D (15,5%). Dari hasil survei pengetahuan pengelolaan vitamin, diperoleh hasil bahwa responden dengan pengetahuan kategori tinggi sebanyak 18%, sedang sebanyak 47%, dan rendah sebanyak 35%. Persentase responden menjawab tepat pada subtopik Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, dan Buang berturut-turut sebesar 92,0%, 86,6%, 60,8% dan 55,4%. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan promosi kesehatan terkait pengelolaan vitamin yang berfokus pada sub-topik Simpan dan Buang.
