Journal History

Journal of Governance and Administrative Reform (JGAR) was founded by the Department of Administration of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, in 2013. This journal was previously named Public Policy and Management, Because there is a similarity in name between the OJS journal with the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo journal, it was agreed with the Chair of the Administration Department that the journal name be changed to Journal of Governance and Administrative Reform (JGAR). The JGAR Journal is published twice a year, in June and December.
