Author Guidelines

 

Jurnal Kimia Riset (JKR) has a rule for the manuscript writting. The manuscript is written with Microsoft Word software in document format (.doc or .docx), using the font type of Times New Roman size 12, spacing 1.5, on A4 paper size format, with the top and left margin of 3 cm while the right and bottom edges of 2.5 cm. The abstract should be typed in single space. The manuscript can be arranged with  English.

Structure

The manuscript should be written in the structure below :

  • Title
  • Abstract, not more 200 words (single spacing)
  • Introduction
  • Material and Method
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknoledgement
  • References

 

The main parts in bold letters without numbering (eg Abstract, Introduction), being the main subpart can use the numbering 1,2, and 3 or a, b, and c.

 

Title

  1. Title of the article (not to exceed 20 words). Title should be written in Indonesia and English version
  2. Name of the author and affiliation (institution) it. The primary author responsible for correspondence, marked with an asterisk (*), then with the email address particulars

 

Abstract

The abstract should be concise, maximum 200 words, single spaced, written in English. Abstract contains a summary of the research purposes, iresults and the main conclusions. Avoid the use of writing references in the abstract and unusual abbreviations. Please complete the asbtract with keywords, with 3-6 words, used for indexing and tracking information. The keywords should have the right words, so people can find related articles by entering a keyword in the search.

 

Introduction

Introduction should be written in brief and concise, containing the description of the theory behind the research, the study of contemporary expression, the expression problem to be solved, objectives and hypotheses of the study. This section is used to write the research background. Please attach the refences in the section.

 

Material and Method

In this section, the author should reveal about the type of sample used, tools and materials that are specifically used in the study. Besides, it should also include the behavior or procedure performed research work. Adaptation of the procedure has been used, is done by calling the adapted reference, and does not need rewriting. If there is modification procedures, the types of modifications that need to be written down in detail.

 

Results and Discussion

In this section, authors should disclose the results of research and explanation or intrepretasinya be concise, clear and concise meaning. Results can be presented in the form of images, tables or curves, so as to clarify the results. Description and discussion of the results can be presented in a separate section or combined as needed. Discussion conducted should explain the freshness of the research conducted, not an explanation of the procedures or repetition of existing research.

 

Conclusion

This section states the findings of the study based on the results of research and discussion. Conclusions should be presented briefly and clearly

 

Acknoledgement

it should be conveyed to the person, institution or other entity that actually support the research and not addressed to the members of researchers who are directly involved in the research.

 

Appendix

Research supporting data can be included separately from the main article as an attachment, such as video files, computer simulation files and datasets.

 

Symbols and Mathematical Equations

Symbols and mathematical equations used to be vouched for by the authors in accordance with the norm contained in the rules of science. All the equations are listed in the text should be numbered consecutively.

 

Figure

All images included pictures included in the text, should be numbered and given a title that describes its contents. Photo required for zoom made a resolution of at least 300 dpi. The title is typed image to be centered and placed at the bottom of the image. Title image in bold, while the caption is not. Example: Figure 1. The growth curve of E. coli. Phase lag, 0-4; death phase, 24-30 etc.

 

Table

All the tables are listed in the text, should be numbered and given a title that describes the contents of the table. The table is shown with a horizontal line in the header (first line) and the end of the course, with no vertical lines. The title is typed table centered and laid on the table.

 

  

References

References in the text

• If the cited article consists of one or two authors, then all author names written down. Example: (Smith, 1990); or (Purkan & Abdulloh, 2007)

• If more than two people outhor, only the first author who wrote, while others are abbreviated by et al are in italics. Example: (Purkan et al, 2008)

 

References List

It is arranged alphabetically, containing all the libraries listed in the text. References that are not listed in the text, are not allowed to be written.

Cost

The author will be charged Rp 300,000 for domestic writers, and 100 USD for foreign authors. In each publication, the author will receive a copy of the submission in print form and two print detachment.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
