Submission Guidelines for RLJ
Article Types
RLJ accepts the following types of articles:
- Research Paper
- Literature review
- Case study
- Book review
General Guidelines
- The article must be unpublished.
- Priority is given to result-based research.
- Articles should be 8-12 pages long, written on A4 paper with a single space. The font must be Times New Roman 12. Margins should be 3 cm on the top, bottom, left, and right sides.
- The article must be free of typos and plagiarism.
- All articles should be in essay format, without bullet points or numbering.
- Do not use footnotes or endnotes. Use running notes in the format of (surname, year of publication: page).
Title
- The title must be in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- The Bahasa Indonesia title must not exceed 12 words, and the English title must not exceed 10 words.
- The title should mention the study's results.
- Do not use subheadings.
- The title should be centered, in Times New Roman 13, Bold.
- Capitalize the initial letter of every word, except for conjunctions, which should be in lowercase.
Author and Institution
- The author's name should be written in full, without academic titles or position/stratification indicators.
- The institution's name must be written in full.
- Correspondence must include the postal address, telephone number, and email.
Abstract and Keywords
- The abstract must be in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- The English abstract should be 150-200 words, and the Bahasa Indonesia abstract should be 150-300 words.
- The abstract must be a single paragraph that includes the background, purpose, methods, results, and conclusion of the study.
- Keywords must be in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- The abstract must contain at least two keywords.
Sections
Introduction
- The introduction should include the background, purpose, and urgency of the research.
- The statement of the problem and/or hypothesis must not be a subheading but should be integrated as a research question within a paragraph in the introduction.
Methods
- This section should describe the practical methods used, including the research type/approach, location, population and sample, sampling techniques, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques.
Results of the Study
- All tables, graphics, and figures must be discussed thoroughly and centered. Interpretation is highly encouraged; do not simply repeat information from the visuals.
- Tables should use three horizontal lines.
- Tables and graphics must be in MS Word or Excel format.
- Every table must have a number and a title written above it.
Conclusion
- The conclusion should not repeat what has been discussed in the results section.
References
- All references in the list must be cited in the text, and vice versa.
- Book citations should be from the last 10 years of publication, and journal citations should be from the last 5 years.
- Use APA style.
Authorship and Submission
- Authors must fill in a statement of responsibility for the article's content.
- Authors must sign a statement that the article is not being proposed to, or will not be submitted to, another journal during the editing and review process by RLJ.
- Authors must sign a plagiarism-free statement.
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV) must be attached.
- The editorial staff reserves the right to edit the article without changing the content or the author's main idea.
