Enhancing MSMEs Innovation Capacity Based on ISO 56002:2019
Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memegang peranan vital dalam perekonomian Indonesia, dengan kontribusi sebesar 60,5% terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB), 96,9% terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, dan 15,7% terhadap total ekspor nasional pada tahun 2024. Fakta-fakta tersebut menggarisbawahi pentingnya pengembangan UMKM sebagai prioritas dalam Asta Cita Presiden Republik Indonesia, dibuktikan dengan adanya kemitraan senilai Rp3,9 triliun yang melibatkan 579 UMKM dan keringanan utang bagi satu juta UMKM secara nasional pada tahun 2025. Namun, di samping kendala keuangan, para peneliti berpendapat bahwa UMKM menghadapi tantangan dalam daya saing karena kurangnya inovasi dan kreativitas. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, ISO 56002:2019 dapat berfungsi sebagai standar untuk menilai kapasitas inovasi organisasi untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Namun, penelitian di bidang ini masih terbatas, sehingga perlu dilakukan studi yang difokuskan pada peningkatan kapasitas inovasi untuk UMKM berdasarkan ISO 56002:2019. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur dengan Perusahaan Parfum XYZ di Yogyakarta, sebagai pelaku UMKM. Penilaian didasarkan pada delapan faktor dari Valladares et al. (2014) dan pengembangannya dalam Silva (2021) yang sejalan dengan ISO 56002:2019, yaitu: (1) Transformative Leadership; (2) Strategic Intention to Innovate; (3) Weight Management for Information; (4) Customer and Market Knowledge; (5) Strategic Technology Management; (6) Organizational Structure; (7) Project Management; dan (8) Innovation Performance. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas inovasi Perusahaan Parfum XYZ dinilai baik, dengan keunggulan pada Transformative Leadership dan Weight Management for Information.
