Gambaran Sedentary Lifestyle Siswa SLTA Sederajat di Kabupaten Madiun Tahun 2022

Latar Belakang: Pandemi COVID-19 memberikan dampak terhadap berbagai sektor kehidupan, salah satunya yaitu terhadap kesehatan fisik dan mental. Pembatasan sosial berdampak terhadap perubahan gaya hidup dengan aktivitas fisik kurang dan durasi duduk yang lebih lama. Selain itu, remaja modern saat ini seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi menjadi populasi yang memiliki aktivitas fisik yang kurang.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran sedentary lifestyle selama pandemi COVID-19 pada siswa SLTA Sederajat di Kabupaten Madiun.
Metode: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian analisis deskriptif. Sampel penelitian sebesar 247 siswa dari 4 sekolah di Kabupaten Madiun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner ASAQ (Adolescent Sedentary Activity Questionnaire) untuk mengukur sedentary lifestyle. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif menggunakan SPSS.
Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa selama pandemi COVID-19 siswa SLTA Sederajat di Kabupaten Madiun memiliki sedentary lifestyle dalam kategori tinggi sebesar 52,2%, kategori sedang 45,7% dan kategori rendah sebesar 2,0%.
Kesimpulan: Selama masa pandemi COVID-19 siswa SLTA Sederajat di Kabupaten Madiun mengalami peningkatan sedentary lifestyle secara durasi waktu dan memiliki sedentary lifestyle yang tinggi. Sebaiknya pihak sekolah memberikan edukasi kepada siswa terkait pola hidup sehat dengan berolahraga secara rutin, mengurangi kegiatan sedentary lifestyle, membuat program pekan olahraga seperti jumat sehat.
